If you are thinking about running a global internet gaming
"Clan", "Squadron", "Guild", or Club, you should read this
entire 14 page tutorial from front to back, maybe even
several times, definitely bookmark it for later. It was
written geared towards a global Half-Life clan, that uses
Roger Wilco, but the tutorial has a lot of good tips for any
leader of any type of club of any age. It borrows on
principles of the USA Army Leadership Manual and the
author's extensive expertise in dealing with all types of
people over the internet. Just so you know, "Half-Life" is a
game played on a personal computer over the internet, and
"Roger Wilco" is free internet voice communication software.
"Internet gaming clans" are global clubs made up of all
types of people that get to together to have fun playing
games on the internet. "Internet gaming clans" are NOT the
same thing as "racist clans", as the word "clan" is
sometimes used in the USA, but is modeled after the Old
Scottish use of the word. Actually, "internet gaming clans'"
goals are the exact opposite, as their goals are to bring
different types of people together. Internet gaming clans
are simply clubs formed for fun.
