These "regular"
(greyscale) spray logos -WILL- work in "Half-life"
or -ANY- of its Mods, like TFC, Counter-Strike, DoD,
DeathMatch, etc, etc.
INSTRUCTIONS:
First go to our "Regular
Logo" viewing and download sections
and download the
logo you want to install, by
double left clicking on it. Save the
".ZIP" file to a folder on your
computer, remember where you put it.
(See our Contact page for file use
policies).
Then double left click
that ".ZIP" file to unpack/extract the
LOGO as a ".BMP" file. If
you don't have a UN-Zipper software
program, you can get a free get one
at www.winzip.com .
Then move the logo's un-zipped ".BMP"
file to your Half-life Mod's
folder.
Here are the default paths to the various
popular Half-life Mod's folders where the
your ".bmp" regular logo
file
should be copied to:
(NOTE: Replace the "yourEmail@yourISP.com"
part with your email address you used when you
registered at Steam.)
(You only have to add
your
".bmp" regular logo
file to Mods you want to use the spray
in).
Counter-Strike:
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\yourEmail@yourISP.com\counter-strike\cstrike\logos
Day of Defeat
(DoD):

of defeat\dod\logos
TFC (Team Fortress

classic\dmc\logos
Half-life Classic:
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\yourEmail@yourISP.com\half-life\valve\logos
Opposing Forces:

force\gearbox\logos |
Select the logo in the
game, by starting up Half-life, TFC,
or Counter-Strike or whatever Mod and
then clicking Half-life's "Option-Multiplayer"
menu button. Then hit that menu's
"NEXT" or the "PREVIOUS"
button until you see the new logos.
Also ADJUST the "In game COLOR"
for your logo in that menu by
selecting a color there. Click "OK"
to save.
Then go into a game and
spray the new logos. If you don't
have a button configured to spray
logos, you can do that in that Mod's
"Option-Keyboard" menu. You
might have to spray your new logo 2
or 3 times and wait a few minutes,
before
the DEFAULT lambda sign logo switches
to the new logo.
WARNING:
DO NOT USE ".JPG" FILES as spray
grayscale LOGOs, they will NOT work in Half-life. You
have to download and unzip the ".BMP"
version and use them instead.
